Village ORTHOdontics in the community ...

Since opening our doors to the community in 1975, Village ORTHOdontics has experienced the kind of successes for which we can truly be most grateful! We have been given the privilege of coming to work each day and helping our patients achieve that confident smile; we have a team of wonderfully knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and supportive individuals; we have built supportive relationships with our patients’ dentists and work closely with them to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes; and we are met with some truly remarkable and inspiring patients each and every day.
Further to that, as a mutually supportive group working together to create a positive and memorable experience for all, we truly feel that our patients and colleagues have become a part of our Village ORTHOdontics family — and for that too, we give thanks!
When one has been so fortunate to derive so many blessings in life, we believe that it is important to give something back. Therefore, one of the cornerstones of our practice philosophy has always been community involvement, and this year is no different!

Village Ortho at the Knights Table!
Some of the staff at Village Orthodontics had the opportunity to spend a Saturday at the Knights Table in Brampton to help those in need from the surrounding area. We brought in an assortment of food: chicken, rice, vegetables, salad, soup, and beverages. We then worked together to prepare the meal and help serve those customers looking for a warm lunch. It was an eye-opening experience, and we thank the Knights Table for allowing us to become involved!

More photos from this wonderful day can be found on our Facebook page!

Village Orthodontics presents the Toothfairy!
Through our connections we were able to get in touch with the Toothfairy and ask her to give a couple of presentations at local schools in the community. She talked about the importance of good oral hygiene with the eager students and even turned a couple lucky ones into teeth! Don’t worry, she changed them back! She concluded with story time and answered lots of questions!

Dr. Kalbfleisch recently traveled to Malawi, Africa to help with local community construction
Malawi is a landlocked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. It is bordered by Zambia to the northwest, Tanzania to the northeast, and Mozambique on the east, south, and west. Malawi is over 118,000 km² with an estimated population of more than 13,900,000.
Malawi is among the world’s least-developed countries. The economy is heavily based in agriculture, with a largely rural population. The Malawian government depends heavily on outside aid to meet development needs.
