Dr. Adrian Danescu is a board-certified orthodontic specialist with years of experience transforming smiles and helping patients feel more confident. He combines a researcher’s curiosity with a clinician’s attention to detail, bringing warmth, kindness, and a sincere commitment to his patients’ best interests to his practice.

Dr. Danescu completed his orthodontic residency at the University of British Columbia, where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and his doctorate (PhD). His path to becoming an orthodontist began with a dental degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, Romania, followed by a master’s degree in Human Anatomy at the University of Manitoba.

His research on craniofacial birth defects has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. During his doctoral studies, he received awards from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and UBC’s Four Year Fellowship program. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Canadian Association of Orthodontists.

Outside the office, Dr. Danescu enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors with his wife, Irina.
